Kangana Ranaut’s baseless statements”: A BJP leader takes issue with the actor-MP’s comments about farm rules

Kangana Ranaut’s recent remarks, according to the BJP, shouldn’t cast any doubt on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s relationship with the Punjabi people.

News agency ANI stated that BJP national spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill criticized party MP Kangana Ranaut for her recent remarks on three agriculture legislation and commended the BJP for separating itself from her “constant rant and illogical statements.”

Jaiveer Shergill expressed gratitude to the BJP for separating itself from Kangana Ranaut’s remarks, saying that there is no reason to question Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s relationship with the Punjabi people in light of Ranaut’s remarks.

Kangana Ranaut apologizes after withdrawing her statement over three agriculture laws as a BJP MP

“As a Punjabi, I must say that all the good work, the welfare-oriented, the Vikas-oriented work being done, that has been done by PM Modi for the welfare of Punjab, Punjabi and Punjabiyat is being harmed by Kangana Ranaut’s constant tirade, useless, baseless and illogical statements against the Sikh community and the farmers of Punjab,” Shergill told ANI.

On Wednesday, the BJP dissociated itself from the Mandi MP’s comments, emphasizing that Kangana’s assertion regarding the necessity of reintroducing the contentious three-farm policy, which was previously overturned, is her personal viewpoint and does not represent the party’s positions.

“BJP MP Kangana Ranaut’s remarks against the farm bills that the federal government withdrew are becoming widely shared on social media. I would like it to be understood that this is a personal statement made by her. Such a comment does not represent the BJP’s position on the agriculture bills, and Kangana Ranaut is not authorized to speak on behalf of the party. Gaurav Bhatia, the BJP spokesperson, stated, “We disapprove of this statement.”
