Raid 2 Trailer: The Raid 2 trailer has finally been released, and it’s full of action and drama. The clip promises audiences to prepare themselves for an exciting battle between Ajay Devgn as a truthful IRS officer and a politician, played by Riteish Deshmukh. The trailer was released in Mumbai on Tuesday with the team of the film present. The trailer starts with a bang, announcing the comeback of as an IRS officer, Amay Patnaik, who goes on another high-risk mission. This time, his target is a political bigwig, played by Riteish Deshmukh. As the clip progresses, it is evident that the mission has huge risks involved, but Ajay has a large team supporting him. Together, they’re willing to eliminate anyone who gets in their way, fueled by their determination to eliminate black money.
The trailer picks up with a power struggle between Ajay Devgn and Riteish, filled with action-packed moments. Adding to the suspense, the trailer also introduces a thread of nostalgia, with several references to Ajay’s earlier mission, which was presented in the first film, Raid. The trailer suggests a battle of wits between Ajay and Riteish, with a reference to Ajay making a “chakravyuh” and a reference to the Mahabharat. Main poori Mahabharat la raha hun (I am getting the entire Mahabharat),” Ajay asserts at some moment in the video. It has been hinted at that Ajay’s plan for catching Riteish will be multi-layered.
The trailer introduces a welcome relief with peeks at Vaani Kapoor as Ajay Devgn’s wife and adding some warmth to the tale. Saurabh Shukla’s cameo, on the other hand, introduces an additional dose of tension, which heightens the thrill quotient.

The movie is released by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series and is a Panorama Studios production. Raid 2 is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and will be released theatrically on May 1. It is a sequel of Ajay’s Raid, which was released in 2018. The movie, based in 1981, told the story of an income tax officer in Lucknow, who fights the ‘powerful corrupt’ in order to assist the poor.
