The Bigg Boss 19 is now open to the entrance gates and the big debut is now going on the JioHotstar.Participants have moved in to the house to initiate a 105 day process of twists, drama and unexpected moments. Salman Khan returns as a host of a new batch of housemates.
The season will be digital-first in that each episode will be available online prior to airing on television. The theme, Gharwalon Ki Sarkar, will allow the more power and responsibility to housemates, but Bigg Boss will also often be intervening to spice things up when necessary. The season has presented an auspicious start with names like Gaurav Khanna, Awez Darbar, Nagma Mirajkar entering the limelight.
These are all the names of the contestants who have entered in the show:
1. Ashnoor Kaur: TV actress Ashnoor Kaur also enters the Bigg Boss season 19 as the first contestant in the show. The performer entered the television industry in 2009 and is best-known by her appearances in Saath Nibhana Saathiya, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Patiala Babes, and others.
2.Writer, director and actor Zeishan Quadri is one of the newcomers in the Bigg Boss 19 house. As soon as it started, he got his presence felt as he had a light-hearted bantering with the host Salman Khan. Zeeshan came to limelight in 2012 with Gangs of Wasseypur and since then has been seen in movies like Chhalaang and Revolver Rani.
3.Tanya Mittal: The show was also joined by spiritual influencer and motivational speaker, Tanya Mittal in the company of Zeishan Quadri. The premiere was attended by Salman Khan who was enjoying some of her popular videos on social media. The 2018 Crowned Miss Asia, Tanya has been gaining a wide following online since her win, with a following above 2.5 million on Instagram.
4.social media celebrity Awez Darbar also entered the Bigg Boss 19 house, performing an adrenaline-pumping dance. He is the son of a music composer Ismail Darbar and brother in law of a winner of big boss season 7, Gauahar Khan. As his name was called to enter the house, Salman Khan asked him, whether his girlfriend, Nagma Mirajkar, would affect his journey on the show. Apart from making content, Awez is the owner of a popular dance studio in Mumbai.
5.Nagma Mirajkar: Nagma Mirajkar is a well-known social media influencer and enjoys extensive popularity in the online world. Before her turn, she and Awez Darbar confessed that even they do not know whether to call themselves a couple or good friends. Her presence has already set the fans in excitement as they are already anticipating her interaction and bonding with the other competitive pool as well as her competency with the others.
6.Nehal Chudasama: Model and fitness coach Nehal Chudasama is one of the confirmed participants of bigg boss 19. She became a household name after she won the Miss Diva Universe title in 2018 and became the representative of India in the Miss Universe pageant the same-year.
7.Baseer Ali: Baseer Ali is also a reality show participant introduced by Salman Khan as being a veteran of reality shows. The Hyderabad-born model entered the television world with the participation in MTV Roadies in the season of 2017, and subsequently won MTV Splitsvilla 10. He has also been seen in Ace of Space and recently in the popular daily soap Kundali Bhagya in 2023.
8.Abhishek Bajaj: Abhishek Bajaj, an actor who appeared on such films as Student of the Year 2, introduced himself and Baseer Ali and Nehal Chudasama. To make his entry interesting he joked by saying, “Sabke ghar mein raj hamara Bajaj.” Along with being an actor, Abhishek is also a model and features in music videos.
9.Gaurav Khanna: television star and Master Chef winner Gaurav Khanna also had an appearance in Bigg Boss 19 premiere at the invitation of host Salman Khan. Gaurav made a vivacious entry and danced to the tune of Main Hoon Na and after this came a hilarious chat with Salman on the stage. Coming in as a green flag, he even managed to participate in a couple of such entertainment activities.
10.Natalia Janoszek: Polish actress and model Natalia Janoszek, famous in her roles in the movies War 2 and Housefull 5, also entered Bigg Boss 19. On stage she said that she does not have much control over her Hindi, but nonetheless wowed the audience by singing one of her Hindi numbers. Natalia also commented how she is nervous about her trip in the house, but eager to take up the challenge.
11.Pranit More: A stand-up comedian cum writer, Pranit More of Mumbai gave an opening comic performance that left the audiences in splits. He had also recently hit the news when he was physically assaulted during one of his live performances after he had made fun of actor Veer Pahariya.
12.Farrhana Bhatt: Farrhana Bhatt is an actress, peace activist and a native Srinagari who identified herself as both the victor and villain of the season. She already featured in the Bollywood films, such as Laila Majnu and Notebook. Besides acting, she is the gold medalist and national Taekwondo champion.
13.Neelam Giri: Bhojpuri film actor Neelam Giri has also signed up to be in the reality show on Salman Khan. Entering the stage with a bang and set the stage on fire with her fantastic dance on popular Bhojpuri tracks she instantly won the hearts of the audience.
14.Kunickaa Sadanand: Veteran actress Kunickaa Sadanand was also mentioned as a confirmed contestants and Salman Khan stated that he was meeting her after almost 20 years. Other lighter moments of the concert involved the two joking about their past projects on stage together. Kunickaa has worked in Bollywood since the 1980s with appearances in Koyla and film Khiladi.
15.The most anticipated Fans Ka Faisla was over and YouTuber Mridul Tiwari was selected to enter the house among the remaining two contestants- Shehbaz Badesha and Mridul Tiwari. A digital creator whogained popularity across an audience, Mridul also had received great support by his fans in order to be crowned.
16.Amaal Mallik: Singer Amaal Mallik who has given music to songs like Kaun Tujhe of the film M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story set the stage on fire with his voice. When speaking with the Salman Khan, he disclosed details of his personal life stating that he was single and romantic love had returned. He also mentioned how he had previously had depression problems and that he chose to break up with family. Amaal is the son of a music director Daboo Malik and the elder brother of singer Armaan Malik.
